  • Like other industries, concrete block manufacturing has developed through several stages:

The Initial Stage: Manual Production

Block manufacturing began with a square wooden mold placed on the ground. Clay and water were poured into it, then the mold was lifted, leaving the material on the ground to dry.

Manual machines then appeared, marking the beginning of hollow-block pressing. The material was poured into the mold, and a worker pressed it manually to form the block before carrying it to the ground to dry.

The mechanized stage:

Architecture has advanced considerably, making it possible to build houses in record time. Beyazli Group has also developed into a leader in concrete block and paving block machines and concrete batching plants. The mechanized stage began with the egg-laying machine, so named because it presses blocks directly onto the ground without wooden pallets. The mixture is loaded manually, and the machine presses it into blocks, producing more than one block per cycle.

  • It then became necessary to design larger machines with higher production capacity. This led to stationary machines capable of producing more than a thousand blocks per hour in different sizes and colors. They vary in operating system—semi-automatic, automatic or fully automatic—and production capacity.

The electronic stage:

As technology developed, machines needed to reduce effort and labor requirements. Fully automatic machines emerged, capable of producing more than three thousand blocks per hour in different sizes.

For example, this vess24.2 finger car machine is manufactured by Turkey’s Beyazli Group. It produces different product types and shapes from 2 cm to 40 cm high, with output exceeding three thousand blocks per hour. It requires only two workers and is controlled by computer. The machine performs every manufacturing stage, from the start through packaging, fully automatically.
